when driving through the desert in July in a convertible, our only sources of shade were clouds and bridges. we were happy to find this flock midway through Utah and wished for a fishing rod and hook to snag one and drag it behind us. for several hundred miles of empty desert, we surfed clouds to the in-ear tunes of the ipod.
